Sarina has been capturing the attention of many through her performances on Jhong’s YouTube channel, where she showcases her talents in song and dance.

Jhong also mentioned that even as a baby, Sarina was already exposed to music.

During the interview, the Makati City councilor acknowledged Sarina’s evident talent and charm, but shared that he and his wife have decided not to enroll her in school at such a young age.

The couple are worried that doing so might overwhelm Sarina and take away her enjoyment of childhood.

They believe in allowing their daughter, who was just two-and-a-half years old at the time, to fully savor her childhood experiences without the pressures of formal education.

Jhong kept his priorities aligned with Sarina and his family’s well-being, taking a break from his work on Your Face Sounds Familiar and It’s Showtime in April 2021 to avoid exposing himself to COVID-19.

“There is a child as you know, when the child feels something, he cannot speak,” he explained.

“I thought about it, I couldn’t sleep. But this decision, I really thought about my son.
