Here’s what Vice Ganda shared after watching a film with the former vice president.

Superstar comedian Vice Ganda was with former Vice President Leni Robredo to watch his film “And The Breadwinner Is”.

Stepping out of his comfort zone when it comes to acting was Vice Ganda who did drama in his film “And The Breadwinner Is”, an official entry in Metro Manila Film Festival 2024.

In a previous article, Anne Curtis held a block screening for Vice, and she was in tears after watching the film. The film topped this year’s film festival and the comedian is grateful for the support the movie received.

The comedian believed that the massive success of his films was because of his special connection with the public but with this particular film, the relatable story was what attracted the people. It was a story that resonated deeply with a lot of people.

Recently, he was with former Vice President Atty Leni Robredo. They watched his film together and the former vice president confessed that to see an emotionally-charged Vice Ganda in the film was something she did not expect.

She was moved especially in the 14-minute one-take confrontation scene. Prior to this, Robredo had heard a lot of reviews and feedback about Vice’s performance in the film but she never thought it would be that good.

“Ang bigat, ano siya mabigat na mabigat. I never saw Vice in a dramatic role na parang akala ko sprinkling of drama lang, pero mabigat siya in a way, ang pakiramdam ko nagbibigay-pugay. Nagbibigay pugay siya sa lahat,” she said.

In the recent episode of It’s Showtime, Vice shared his experience with the vice president, and according to him, he discovered one thing about her.

Vice expressed, “Mahagikhik pala siya. Madali siyang tumawa tapos may tunog yung tawa niya. Ang cute-cute niya tapos mamaya hindi ko na siya naririnig na humahagikhik kasi ganun na siya ng ganun (gestures wiping face from crying).”
