Batangas Vice Gov. Mark Leviste Gives Update about Kris Aquino

MARK LEVISTE – The Batangas Vice Governor gave a short update about Kris Aquino and his conversations with the actress.

Actress Kris Aquino has yet to return to the Philippines. It was in 2022 when the actress flew to Houston in the United States to receive her treatment. She’s dealing with multiple autoimmune disease.

Since she flew abroad, Kris rarely posts on social media. She would sometimes post just to give an update about her treatment or to pay tribute to people close to her heart on special occassions.

The sons of Kris, Josh and Bimby, are usually in U.S., too, supporting their mother in her fight to live. Kris refuses to die for her two sons and she is vocal that they are her source of inspiration to fight her health condition.

Amid her treatment abroad, one of the people linked to Kris Aquino was Batangas Vice Governor Mark Leviste. The politician does not mind flying miles across the nations to visit and take care of the actress.

Many people are very happy to see that there is someone who takes care and loves Kris in a different way. However, in November 2023, Kris broke up with the Batangas Vice Governor Mark Leviste. After a few months, there were rumors that they are together again.

Regardless of the real score between Mark Leviste and Kris Aquino now, the two (2) celebrities in the different industry visibly share a good relationship. The Batangas Vice Governor shared a short update about the actress explaining that he is not in the position to discuss her current condition.

“Although kanina, kami ay magka-text at siya po ay nagpahinga dahil siya po ay nagpabakuna kamakailan at ramdam pa po niya ang epekto ng gamot o ng bakuna. Kung kaya’t siya po ay nagpapahinga sa mga oras na ito,” the politician said based on an article on Pep.

Batangas Vice Governor Mark Leviste did not disclose what kind of vaccine Kris Aquino got. Based on the article, the politician affirmed that the communication between him and the actress is fine and they would even talk about politics at times.

Mark stressed that Kris came from a political family and his parents are not ordinary politicians in the Philippines as well as his late brother. He expressed that the actress’ parents and brother have marked in the history of the country.

“So, hindi naman po bago kay Kris ang pulitika at ako ay nagpapasalamat nang marami po akong natutunan sa kanya. She is very inspiring, she inspires me, and she continues to motivate me in my work as a public servant,” Mark said.
