LJ Reyes bared that Paulo Avelino has reached out to her after her controversial split with Paolo Contis.
In a recent interview with King of Talk Boy Abunda, LJ shared life updates after flying to New York late August with her kids Aki and Summer.
The actress shared that ex-boyfriend Paulo, who is Aki’s father, got in touch with her after learning of her situation and offered a helping hand should their 11-year-old son need it.
She said, “We’re not friends, friends na parang every day nag-uusap, but he’s been there for Aki naman.
“Siya ang nag-send sa akin ng message. Nagsabi lang siya na, parang, ‘I know you’re going through a very difficult time.’
“At siyempre, ang iniisip niya rin is si Aki, and if anything daw that I need when it comes to Aki, I can always tell him,” related LJ.
LJ and Paulo ended their four-year relationship in 2013 and agreed to co-parent Aki.
Paolo, LJ’s former live-in partner, and father of their daughter Summer, on the other hand, has made “no efforts” after their separation.
