The What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim star recently told ABS-CBN News that she wanted a fresh start this 2024, saying that her post in December 2023 supposedly was the last time she would talk about the breakup. However, recent comments seem to be “lighting the fire.”

“Entering 2024, sabi ko talaga I just want a fresh start, new beginning and I don’t want to dwell sa past,” she said.

“Parang ‘yung post ko nung December sabi ko, this will be the last time na pag-uusapan ko ito,” Kim said. “Pero parang ang dami pa rin. Parang hindi naman siya mapag-uusapan kung no one’s lighting the fire.”

She hopes that Xian would stop making statements about their past relationship.

“It ended, the journey was beautiful. Ayaw ko nang maging masama ‘yung loob ko,” she said.

Kim added: “Kasi paulit-ulit na lang. Let’s give it a rest and let’s leave respect to each other.”

During an interview with GMA showbiz reporter Nelson Canlas this week, Xian said that the fans’ reaction to their breakup has “gotten out of hand.”

“I do not deserve the false accusations, the lies being spread,” he said, revealing that his family also received “death threats.”

“Nadadamay na rin kasi ‘yung nanay ko pati ‘yung lola ko. They’re getting personal messages. I’m getting death threats. My mom’s getting death threats. Umabot sa ganun, that’s the gravity of the situation I’m dealing with now,” he said.

Kim and Xian dated for 12 years, before confirming their separation during the holidays last year, writing, “It was our mutual decision to transition our relationship into what we hope to be a lifelong friendship.”

Xian officially confirmed his romance with film producer Iris Lee in May after sparking dating rumors in December 2023.
