Queen Mother Karla Estrada is currently hosting the on-air barangay hall program Face 2 Face with comedian Alex Calleja and netizens expressed dismay on the way she is hosting the show.
The said show made a comeback after several years of going off-air. It replaced the timeslot previously occupied by Brightlight Productions’ noontime show Tropang LOL. It’s Showtime host Amy Perez previously hosted the show.
In a previous interview, Karla admitted that she talked to Amy after the show was offered to her. The latter gave pieces of advice for hosting this kind of show.

When Karla Estrada shared teasers of her new show, her fans expressed excitement. The format of Face 2 Face is different from her previous hosting stint, the Kapamilya morning talk show Magandang Buhay.
Based on the article by entertainment writer Alex Salva Quiño in Balita, there are some online “marites” who did not like how Karla is hosting the show. Those netizens compared that Karla Estrada’s “power” and “level” are far behind what previous hosts Amy Perez and Gelli de Belen showed.
It was also said that some netizens commented that the Queen Mother’s soft side is still evident just like what she was when she was hosting Magandang Buhay. Apparently, netizens are looking for the “intensity” that the show requires her to exhibit.
