Actress Kim Chiu gave an exclusive interview to MJ Felipe of ABS-CBN News about the recent interviews of her former boyfriend, actor Xian Lim, about their past relationship.

It turns out that Kim would prefer if Xian stops speaking about their past relationship, as she does not want to dwell on the past.

She also urged Xian to give the topic about their past a rest and leave some respect for each other.

“Entering 2024, sabi ko talaga I just want a fresh start, new beginning and I don’t want to dwell sa past.

“Parang ‘yung post ko nung December sabi ko, this will be the last time na pag-uusapan ko ito. Pero parang ang dami pa rin. Parang hindi naman siya mapag-uusapan kung no one’s lighting the fire.

“It ended, the journey was beautiful. Ayaw ko nang maging masama ‘yung loob ko,” she said.

“Kasi paulit-ulit na lang. Let’s give it a rest and let’s leave respect to each other,” Kim said.

In a report by GMA News, Xian Lim shared that his breakup with Kim was sad and painful but that life goes on. Xian also shared that he took his past relationships seriously, as reported by Inquirer.

Kim Chiu is a Filipina-Chinese actress and television host. She broke through in showbiz after becoming a winner in Pinoy Big Brother. She was born on April 19, 1990, in Cebu City to Chinese businessman William Chiu and Louella Yap. Kim is also known as the “Chinita Princess” and was once hailed as the “Princess of Philippine Movies and TV.”

In a previous story, Kim shared a video proudly showcasing her new glam look. In the video she shared, one can see Kim sporting what appeared to be a new hairstyle. She also humorously said in the caption that her secret is out and then introduced herself as her supposed twin, “Stella.” The actress also jokingly told her followers she doesn’t want Stella to come out but that they forced her.

Earlier, fans were amused with the answer of Kim on the “It’s Showtime” segment, “Showing Bulilit.” In the said segment, participants tried to guess the movie of Gerald and Bea Alonzo in 2016. Her co-hosts then jokingly pointed out that it should be Kim who needs to answer as regards to the movies made by her ex-boyfriend. Kim, for her part gamely answered the questions, though said “wala po akong maalala, your honor,” which made her co-hosts burst out laughing.
