In ‘It’s Showtime’ on Monday, hosts Kim Chiu and Jackie Gonzaga were moved to tears during a discussion about their ex-boyfriends.
The emotional segment began when Vice Ganda asked Jackie about her ex-boyfriend in the ‘EXpecially For You’ segment.
When Vice asked if Jackie would introduce her new partner if they encountered her ex, she confidently responded yes.
“Siguro ako kung ganoon na ‘yung mindset ko na, ‘Kung makita mo, makita mo,’ siguro wala na akong paki sa mararamdaman mo. Hindi ko na iniisipin. Basta ako ito. Ito meron ako ngayon. Proud ako dito,” Jackie said.
However, when Vice asked what she would do if she saw her ex with someone new, Jackie couldn’t hold back her tears.
“Iiwas ako tapos iiyak na lang ako pag-uwi,” she admitted, tears streaming down her face.
Kim Chiu also became emotional when Jackie asked her what she would do if she saw her ex in the hallway with someone new.
“Haharap siyempre. Ganoon talaga hindi ka dapat tumatalikod sa mga bagay na magpapalakas sa iyo,” Kim said, struggling to hold back her tears.

Vice Ganda expressed his pride in the two hosts. “Diyan ako proud sa dalawang iyan. Masakit man, hinaharap nila. Kayang harapin, kahit hindi masyado sila komportable, hindi nag aano back-out, hindi iyan tumatalikod. Harapin natin ito. Kaya mga strong women iyang dalawang iyan.”
It’s worth noting that Jackie had previously been brought to tears in an episode when she shared the sacrifices she made in the name of love. Meanwhile, in December 2023, Kim Chiu and Xian Lim confirmed their breakup.
