There’s family by blood and there’s family born out of friendship. Such is the case with Kim Chiu and the Queen of All Media, Kris Aquino.

Kris fondly refers to Kim as her “panganay”, and the Chinita Princess is treated like an elder sister by Kris’ sons, Josh and Bimby.

Kris, who has been open about her medical struggles and is currently still in the process of healing in the US, was very grateful to Kim who visited her last October.

“Reunion with my panganay,” Kris captioned their video back then.

The two reunited again for the holidays as Kim dropped by Kris’s home in time for the Christmas holidays, with Bela Padilla in tow.

In the video, it can be seen how Kim and Bela were warmly welcomed by Bimby and Josh.

Kim was also joined in one photo by Batangas Vice Governor Mark Leviste, who was the unofficial videographer who documented the arrival of Kim and Bela in Kris’s house in Orange County, California.

In an exclusive interview with PUSH, VG Mark shared how he would always keep Kris in his prayers.

“For Kris, I always pray, whether it’s Christmas or not,” he said, explaining that wishes for Kris’s well-being are already prayer staples for him. “I always pray for her immediate recovery and immediate return here in the Philippines. Everybody misses her.”

Kris seems on the mend, even preparing for the new year with a new haircut. California hairstylist and makeup artist Kimora Bernabe recently posted about Kris’s new look for 2024.

“Sabi ni Kris, she’s getting ready for the holidays. Gusto niya magpagupit para she will look good and lucky raw,” she revealed in newspaper article. “So new look si Kris para lucky raw sa 2024.”

She also posted photos with VG Mark, Josh, and Bimby. She explained that Kris’s two boys also wanted their hair styled by her.

In another photo, Kim and Bela appeared to feel very welcome at Kris’s house. Kim and Bela can be seen laughing and bonding with Bimby while sharing a meal with the family.

Kim is currently on vacation in the US where she met up with celebrity BFFs, Bela Padilla and Angelica Panganiban, in LA.

“#AngBeKi reunite!!! Ending the year with these two beautiful people!!!,” posted Kim on her Instagram account, along with photos where the three were wearing matching shirts care of Angelica.

Bela also posted a photo when she visited the Homans. She was able to spend time with Angelica’s family and was also able to meet up with other friends in the US.

“Thank you @iamangelicap for the best first 3 days here in LA…and to your fambam for being so so sweet! Father @gregg_homan shot na! 😂” she said.

“Can’t wait to see you @chinitaprincess,” she added.

In her IG stories, Bela gave a glimpse of her day with Kim, which began with her boyfriend sending over breakfast.

She also showed a video of Kim driving her around.

“I have the prettiest driver today,” said Bela. “Today, I’m just a passenger. I love it!”
