Barbie Forteza and Sanya Lopez are still taking their tap dancing lessons for their roles in “Pulang Araw.”

In Nelson Canlas’ report on “24 Oras,” Wednesday, the Sparkle stars admitted that it is not easy to learn the dance.

“It’s hard in [‘All-Out Sundays’] but the level of difficulty of tap dancing is different because it’s just basic, it’s confusing,” Sanya said.

Barbie added, “There’s also the incorporation of sound, unlike hiphop where you can’t hear your feet. It’s because you have to hear your footwork, your steps, everything. So your coordination has to be perfect.”

Barbie and Sanya are also prohibited from doing ballet and going to the gym.

“They say ballet is not allowed. I don’t know how to do ballet, so it’s OK,” Barbie said.
