In a spectacular turn of events, Star Cinema’s latest film, #Rewind, has etched its name into the annals of Philippine cinema history. The movie is projected to cross the monumental P600 million mark today, a feat that secures its place as the highest-grossing film in the history of the Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF).

 

#Rewind has not only outpaced the previous record held by The Revengers Squad, which grossed P540 million during its MMFF run, but it has also set a new benchmark for Filipino films since the pandemic. In terms of domestic records, though official data is still being compiled, #Rewind is now estimated to be the third highest-grossing Filipino film of all time.
