Matet de Leon Discloses Status Of Tuyo Business After Reconciling W/ Her Mom Nora Aunor

MATET DE LEON – Actress Matet de Leon recently revealed the status of her tuyo business after reconciling with her mom Nora Aunor.

Actress Matet de Leon expressed her hurt and frustration over business concerns with her adoptive mom Nora Aunor last December. Matet revealed that the Philippines’ Superstar has started to compete with her in the gourmet and tuyo business she owns.

Matet is one of Nora’s adopted children with her former husband Christopher de Leon. Because they led public lives as celebrities, many of their family matters could not escape the public’s notice.

Matet de Leon then declared that she would no longer communicate with Nora Aunor. She claimed that was badly hurt when she awoke one afternoon to a message from her mother regarding her business, which is the same as hers.

The problem was resolved when Matet said she and Nora had spoken about it the next month. She admitted that she spoke “too soon” when she said that she won’t talk to her mom anymore and it was due to her anger then.
Matet de Leon disclosed that the rift between her and Nora because of “tuyo” has been resolved. She stated in an interview with Philstar.com yesterday at the premiere of her new film “Unspoken Letters” that their misunderstanding was resolved before 2022 came to an end.

“Bago matapos ang December, nag-chat sa akin si mama. Nagsabi siya na sana kalimutan na namin ang hindi namin pagkakaintindihan…”

“Sinong tatanggi sa nanay? Walang tatanggi sa nanay. So kung ano man ‘yung binitbit ko na galit, nagsalita lang ako ng tapos na hindi ko na siya talaga kakausapin kahit kailan…”

“Kaya lang, siyempre lalambot ang puso ko. Nanay mo ‘yon, inaayos ang problema. Bakit hindi, di ‘ba? Napalaki naman niya ako ng maayos e. So gano’n,” she added.

According to the report, Matet said that her tuyo business is expanding as they have now a stall. “Doing well. Sa katunayan, nag-branch out na kami. Hindi lang gourmet tuyo and tinapa, mayroon na rin kaming stall sa UN Avenue. So, doing well,” Matet said.
