Sofia Andres said she is able to maintain her friendship with either of the ex-couple Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla despite their split.

In an interview with reporters at the sidelines of a brand event, Andres addressed her friendship with Bernardo and Padilla, who is also her partner Daniel Miranda’s friend. She was asked if she ever found herself in a tight spot in dealing with them at the height of their split.

“No naman po (Not really). My partner [Daniel Miranda] is close to DJ [Padilla] talaga so they still hang out. Ako naman, I hang out with Kath [Bernardo]. Wala namang (There is no) bad blood,” she said.

Without disclosing any details, Andres reiterated that she respects “both sides” since it’s Bernardo and Padilla themselves who are involved in their split. She also pointed out that she has no problem working with them in the future.

“I respect both sides kasi siyempre sila ‘yung nakaka-alam (because they’re the ones who know about it). I’m fair,” she said. “Wala namang problem [working with them], as long as magka-work (I get to work).”

Bernardo and Padilla confirmed their split in November 2023 after an 11-year relationship. Neither disclosed the exact date when they ended their romance for good.

Andres piqued the interest of netizens after sharing a photo of herself with Bernardo and Alora Sasam during the height of their split in December 2023.
