The kapamilya singer and  TV host Karylle reacted when asked about her former boyfriend, kapuso actor Dingdong Dantes, who recently went public with his engagement with long-time girlfriend Marian Rivera.

In an interview with the entertainment press on Wednesday, the “It’s Showtime” host said that she prefers not to talke about Marian Rivera and Dingdong Dantes for she doesn’t want to intrude into their lives.




“Ako kasi, wala na ako sa eksenang ‘yon, so ayoko naman ding sumingit. I think iyon nalang siguro for now ang sasabihin ko,” she said.



Karylle and Dingdong Dantes had been in a relationship for 3 years and controversially broke up in 2008, amid rumors linking him to Marian Rivera. The GMA stars started dating in 2009 and got engaged in  2012.


 

The couple publicly revealed their engagement on August when Dingdong Dantes proposed to Marian Rivera during the live broadcast of her dance show “Marian”. According to reports, they will tie-the-knot this year.



“Everyone deserves to have a wonderful wedding, and that’s what I’ve experienced. Until now, I can’t stop talking about our wedding,” said Karylle, who got married to Spongecola vocalist Yael Yuzon on March.

The 33-year-old actress said that people should be happy for the both of them, and she hopes that they will no longer make an issue between them.



Meanwhile, Karylle admitted that he and her husband are planning for her possible pregnancy in the near future. They are just preparing as husband and wife so they can commit their time to their first child.
