The enigmatic remarks made by Vice Ganda have sparked widespread speculation, with many speculating that they pertain to the rumored conflict between ‘Eat Bulaga’ and ‘It’s Showtime’ over the coveted noontime slot on TV5.

Meanwhile, ‘It’s Showtime’ currently holds the slot on TV5 as the airing noontime show, following ABS-CBN’s franchise denial. Consequently, rumors have circulated online regarding the potential move of ‘Eat Bulaga!’ to TV5 and the reshuffling of another show’s time slot on the network.
Fans theorize that Vice Ganda’s tweet may allude to It’s Showtime’s refusal to undergo a rescheduling.
In Ogie Diaz’s ‘Showbiz Update,’ the tweet was discussed in conjunction with the issue, with Diaz expressing his perspective that if he were in their position, he would opt to switch networks rather than accept a rescheduling.
“Kung babasahin ko ‘yan ah, ‘yung mga ganyan, ako lang naman po ito…parang agree ba si Vice o ang ‘It’s Showtime’ cast na sila ay ma-bump off para mapalitan ng ‘Eat Bulaga’ sa 12 noon slot at sila’y sisipain papuntang pre-programming ng ‘Frontline Pilipinas? Kung basang-basa ko ‘yung mga ganyan, parang hindi sila papayag… parang feeling ko, hindi na lang siguro,” Diaz remarks.
‘It’s Showtime’s’ fans are also claiming that the show is better off in a different platform and even online.
A reply to Vice Ganda’s tweet reads: “Maraming platform to watch #ItsShowTime! Hindi kailangan ang TV5! I don’t use the remote control of our television because it’s fixed to #Kapamilya channel.”
