VICE GANDA – The Kapamilya superstar comedian wondered what micro-cheating means and acts considered as this.

One of the trendy words of today online is “micro-cheating”. It is defined as the “small breaches of trust in a relationship that don’t pass the threshold into a physical affair”. Some examples of this is leaving the wedding ring when going out or secretly talking to an ex-partner.

However, the acts are subjective. It can be referred to as the little acts that make one doubt his or her partner’s commitments and loyalty. It is difficult to navigate in a relationship through this but with surely, the accumulated acts of red flags can indicate larger dilemmas in your relationship.

Trust will begin to waver. But as stated above, it is subjective. One act for you may be a micro-cheating but not for another and this is how Anne Curtis explained micro-cheating in It’s Showtime during the “EXpecially For You” segment.

In this segment, a contestant expressed that for her, micro-cheating is when her partner watches another girl. For her, this little acts, if continued, will only lead to a real cheating over time.

This is when Vice Ganda asked if watching other attractive people is micro-cheating based on the video. Because if this is the case, girls must not watch handsome actors and models so as not to commit it. It should be both ways, not only on one side.

Anne clarified that matters like this are different from one couple to another. However, the key is being clear to one’s partner. There must be an open and honest communication between them and that limits and boundaries must be set. If the person crosses this limitation, this would speak volume on how he respects and values you and the relationship.
