Famous actor Xian Lim wrote a heartbreaking message for Kapamilya actress Kim Chiu after their almost 12-year relationship ended.

Every split is painful and heartbreaking. There’s no easy way to move one and there’s never a shortcut to forgetting the person who has become a part of your life but has to let go because it was just not meant to be.

In a previous article, Kim Chiu confirmed her split with Xian. The actor was her boyfriend for many years. They were a couple for almost 12 years and calling it quits, although mutual between them, was surely a tough decision to make.

It’s 12 years that we’re talking here after all.

After the Kapamilya actress released her statement, Xian followed shortly but his post was a message for the woman with whom he spent 12 years of his life. He described the time they were together as “the best gift he could ever ask for”.

He thanked her for the years that they spent together loving each other.

“Like all good things, it must eventually come to an end.” 

They have loved each other to the fullest and this is what he will cherish for life along with the fact that for a time, their hearts beat as one. Their relationship is a good thing and just like the other good things in life, it happened that it must also end.

The rest of his message for the actress said:

Thank you for all the unconditional love throughout the years. My respect and admiration for you as a person, as an artist, and as someone I spent more than a decade with will always remain.
