Wrexham have had a brilliant start to the 24/25 League One season.

A supercomputer has predicted Wrexham’s fate in the 24/25 League One campaign.

After securing back-to-back promotions, the Red Dragons are looking for a hat-trick and seal a place in the Championship.

Backed by Hollywood owners Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney, Wrexham brought in the likes of Ollie Rathbone, Arthur Okonkwo, George Dobson and Callum Burton.

So far in the 24/25 season, Wrexham are top of the League One table after five matches.

With the team currently unbeaten, a BonusCodeBets supercomputer has tipped the Welsh club to go all the way and win the title.

As reported by The Mirror, Wrexham will finish top with 94 points, ahead of Huddersfield Town, who are predicted to collect 91 points.

Meanwhile, Birmingham City will have to settle for third place with 87 points.

Speaking about Wrexham’s start, manager Phil Parkinson said: “Five games in and I know it doesn’t count for a great deal but equally I think we’ve got to be pleased with the work so far this season.

“Having the ability to handle being at the top and that extra kind of expectancy it creates, of course we’ve been there.”

He added: “The run with Notts County in the National League, every game was full on and you had to win every game and had to perform at your best to keep winning.

“So yes, we’ve got a group who are used to living with that and hopefully we’ll continue to thrive under that bit of added pressure.”

Wrexham won their Football League Trophy clash against Salford earlier this week and will return to action when take on Birmingham City at St. Andrew’s on Monday night.

Speaking ahead of the match, Parkinson said: “It is the next league game coming up and we have got an extra couple of days to prepare for it which I think is good for us because we have got one or two knocks.

“George Dobson had a dead leg and needed to be rested against Salford and Elliot Lee has got a slight problem so a few will get huge benefit from those extra two days, and I don’t think the game needs any building up.

“We just adapt the week accordingly and we have got that plan in place already as we always do as a staff. Sit down and try and get the detail and the preparation right because it is really important. We will go down to St Andrew’s and look to give a good account of ourselves.”
