In a recent interview, Nathalie Hart candidly shared about her six-year-old daughter, Penelope, and how the young girl is beginning to understand her mother’s profession as an actress. When asked if Penelope is aware of her being on TV, Nathalie shared a lighthearted story, saying, “You know, nakakatawa noong nag-Family Feud ako, kilala niya si Dingdong Dantes kasi nakikita niya ang anak ni Dingdong. Sabi ko, ‘I will bring you to my taping.’ ‘Why, mommy?’ ‘You know your mom works in TV.’ ‘Oh, really?’”

She continued, saying that Penelope’s recognition of her acting career grew after that moment. “Yun lang, parang after that, sunud-sunod na, ‘You know, you’re mom is an actress.’ ‘Yeah, mom, I know. I saw you in that thing.’ Nakakatawa lang, ang arte-arte. She was really interested only because crush niya yung anak ni Dingdong Dantes.’

Nathalie Hart also opened up about how Penelope became her anchor during tough times, especially after her short-lived marriage. “Sa anak ko talaga [ako kumapit],” she said, explaining that her daughter gave her strength during difficult moments. She shared how Penelope motivates her to succeed: “My God, I have to make a lot of money. I have to be successful, so when I leave this world, may pupuntahan naman yung buhay ng anak ko.”

As a single mother, Nathalie acknowledged the challenges she faces, particularly when it comes to making decisions. She said, “Mahirap lang na you have to decide everything. Yun lang ang nakakainis doon.”

“If there’s a good cop and a bad cop, you’re both. How can you play those two roles? Yun lang siguro ang pinakamahirap doon, especially when you’re a single parent.”
