Andi Eigenmann clarifies that her earlier posts is about a woman who, she claims, kept on urging her fiancé to break up with her whenever the couple had a fight

MANILA, Philippines – Andi Eigenmann denied being cheated on by fiancé Philmar Alipayo after their cryptic posts on social media alluded to their breakup, although she admitted being “hurt” by his actions.

Eigenmann on Saturday, February 8, clarified that her earlier posts, which included a reference to a “wolf in sheep’s clothing,” is about a woman who, she claimed, has been urging Alipayo to break up with her whenever the couple had a fight.

The same woman, Eigenmann said, also convinced Alipayo to get matching tattoos with her.

A friend of the couple got similar “224” tattoos with Alipayo and posted them on Instagram with the caption: “2Today, 2Tomorrow, 4Forever. More than a decade of being my lil bro, and one of my greatest blessings.”

The friend has since deactivated her Instagram account.

“I am fully aware that my husband never cheated on me with this girl. I am always around when they are together. I posted because this person betrayed me, encourages my husband to break up with me during every fight even when I also tell my side of the story to her,” Eigenmann wrote on Instagram.

“She didn’t honor my side by choosing to celebrate her and my husband’s love for each other because the day after our fight, she inserted herself in the situation by encouraging him to go for a spontaneous love couple tattoo together.”

“If innocent, why now when he is vulnerable? Why not when we were okay? Or maybe when things have calmed down?”

Eigenmann said she only chose to post about the matter on social media after asking the woman for an explanation but she failed to get a response.

“Yes, I am hurt that my husband didn’t think this would bother me, I’m not being dumb and ignoring that, but post was to just show that no normal person with good intentions would think it’s okay for a ‘friend’ to encourage someone else’s husband to do this without considering the partner’s feelings,” she said.

“Especially after I told her that even if we are in a bad fight, I would always want and choose to be okay with my husband because he is my family.”

The 34-year-old former actress added she should have listened to her friends who told their partners to “stay away” from the woman.

“I have seen the red flags but chose to look beyond it since she was already a friend before I came into the picture. Was shy to call it out to my partner. Now I realized setting boundaries in a relationship doesn’t make it toxic,” Eigenmann said.

Eigenmann and Alipayo have been together since 2018 and they have two children together: daughter Lilo and son Koa.

The couple, who reside in Siargao, got engaged in 2020.
