Paolo seeks GMA-7’s approval before speaking on split with LJ Reyes
Actor Paolo Contis remains mum on the issue of his split with actress LJ Reyes.

In a Youtube vlog of Ogie Diaz, the talent manager said that he has been reaching out to Contis for his reaction and side of the story.

“Paolo said I won’t speak yet because GMA still needs consent and blessing because they are both GMA-7 talent,” Diaz said in his vlog recounting his Viber conversation with Contis.

When asked for his opinion on Yen Santos’ involvement, Diaz said: “I feel like she is, but there is a story behind those stories.”

Meanwhile, Diaz also denied that Joy Reyes, the former partner of Jomari Yllana, was involved in the Reyes-Contis split.

“In a story, there are three sides, your side, my side and the truth side,” Diaz said.

Last week, LJ Reyes recalled the moments leading to her separation with Contis.

In an interview with Boy Abunda, she said that months before the break up she had received tips from individuals saying Paolo has been spotted in some areas late last year.

“He’s often away from home. He’s a home buddy if he can’t leave the house he won’t leave the house,” Reyes said.

She then asked Contis if there’s something wrong with him leading to his change in behavior.

“Are we okay, you look different? I don’t feel the same way you used to. You just thought you dismissed him,” she said.

“It came to a point where you’re a friend of a friend as in close friend. When you’re a woman, you really know that anyone can love you, no matter what gender,” she said.

Reyes did not directly answer if Paolo had another affair.

“I felt disrespected. I can’t rebuild my family in the Philippines. “If he wants to admit it in public, he’s fine as long as we’re not here,” she said.

“Many people have shown me the truth of how he is when I’m away. He’s a different person when I’m away,” she said.
