Director Mae Cruz Alviar kay Marian Rivera sa ‘Balota’: “Kumapit talaga ako sa character niya. As always, she gave her heart and soul.”

Pinuri ng direktor na si Mae Cruz Alviar ang mahusay na pagganap ng Kapuso Primetime Queen na si Marian Rivera sa pelikulang Balota.

Si Direk Mae ay ang direktor ng highest-grossing film of all time na Rewind, na pinagbidahan ni Marian at ng asawa niyang si Kapuso Primetime King Dingdong Dantes.

Humanga ang TV and film director sa galing ng 2024 Cinemalaya Best Actress awardee sa pagganap nito bilang Teacher Emmy at aniya’y naramdaman niya ang pinagdaanan ng karakter ng aktres.

Ayon pa kay Direk Mae, umaasa siya na maging eye opener ang Balota sa mga kabataan dahil sa napapanahong mensahe nito.

Aniya, “Ang daming bagets na nanood and they were reacting to the scenes. Hoping this becomes an eye opener especially for them as this film is timely and relevant. Sakto pa coz elections is coming up in a few months. As teacher Emmy said, “Paulit-ulit na lang. Praying that the next gen creates the change we are hoping for.”
