However, there was a time in her career that she almost quit. Judy Ann Santos was still young back then. In this era, bashing is the term for negative comments online. Years ago,Β Β celebritiesΒ were battling against negativity through blind items.
Juday shared that there were times when she asked herself why she was in showbiz.
βSabi nila mukha akong siopao. Sabi nila para akong aparador. Sabi nila nagkamata at ilong lang ako, pag ngumiti ako, buhay na siopao na ako. Tapos, pag tinitingnan ko yung sarili ko sa umaga, parang totoo nga,βΒ she laughingly said.
There was a feeling that she was not needed in the industry. She recalled the time when she was feeling tired and negativity would be thrown at her. With her young age, she was not thinking that bad publicity was still publicity, and this really affected her.
Those were the times when she said to herself, βAyoko na!β She also admitted that back then, she would resort to drinking alcohol. However, this would result in negative write-ups.

At that time, she did not know who her real friends were. Then, she decided to just mingle with a small circle of friends and they would drink in private places.
βAnd then eventually, nakuha ko na yung vibe na gusto ko na pang small group lang pala talaga ako. Hindi pala ako pang-barkada package. Yung gusto ko mas intimate na kuwentuhan, ayoko pala nung labas ng labas,βΒ she shared.
Eventually, Judy Ann Santos realized that she also needed to let herself have the reset she deserved.
