What if one day, you meet your ex with his someone new? It’s Showtime hosts Kim Chiu and Jackie Gonzaga have these answers.

There are no shortcuts when it comes to dealing with pain and mending a broken heart. Either you face it right now head or cry over it later on. The choice is yours to make. In the recent episode of It’s Showtime, mainstay host Vice Ganda asked a hypothetical question that made Jackie Gonzaga and Kim Chiu become emotional.

Chiu and Gonzaga have one denominator – they both just ended a long-term relationship. To recall, Kim confirmed the split with Xian Lim last year. It was a mutual decision but the fact that something one thought would last forever ended is more than enough reason for the pain to be inflicted on both. Over a decade of relationship is no joke.

As for Jackie and Tom Doromal, their split was reported just this year. There was no official statement but the remarks and teasing in the noontime show is enough confirmation for the public.

The hypothetical question from the superstar comedian was: “Sa estado mo… nakasalubong mo siya may kasama nang iba, iiwas ka?”

Answering this question, Jackie said that she’ll avoid them and just burst to tears once she’s home. She’d rather deal with the pain later and would seemingly not allow her ex see her crying over him.

As for Kim, what she’d rather do is face it right there and then. She believes that there’s no reason in avoiding something that is supposed to give her strength.

She said in the video, “Hindi ka dapat tumatalikod sa mga bagay na nangpapalakas sa’yo.”
