Weekend television programming continues to be dominated by GMA Network’s ‘Kapuso Mo Jessica Soho (KMJS)’, maintaining its stronghold atop the Sunday leaderboard.

 

Meanwhile, Kapamilya’s noontime show ‘It’s Showtime, which airs simultaneously on GMA Network, also demonstrated strong performance on Saturdays, garnering impressive ratings according to the latest Nielsen NUTAM People survey.

On Saturday, April 20, ‘It’s Showtime’ surged to a rating of 8.4 percent, securing the 4th position overall in the ratings chart. Its competitor, ‘EAT…Bulaga’, attained a rating of 4.7 percent, placing it in the 12th spot on the leaderboard.

The latest rating for ‘It’s Showtime’ marked a 1.0 percent increase from its previous day’s rating on Friday, April 19, which was 7.4 percent, and a 0.8 percent rise from the rating of 7.6 percent achieved the previous week (April 13).

Meanwhile, leading the overall Saturday leaderboard was ‘Magpakailanman’, recording a stong rating of 12.4 percent, followed by ‘Pepito Manaloto’ in second place with a rating of 10.6 percent. Securing the third spot was the Kapuso afternoon series ‘Abot kamay Na Pangarap’, with a rating of 9.5 percent. Rounding up the top 5 was ‘Tadhana’ with a rating of 8.3 percent.

On Sunday, April 21, GMA Network’s flagship magazine show, KMJS, maintained its unassailable position at the top with a commanding rating of 16.1 percent. Following closely in second place was the Kapuso sitcom ‘Walang Matigas Na Pulis Sa Matinik Na Misis’, posting a rating of 9.7 percent.

 

The third spot was claimed by the long-standing gag show ‘BBLGANG’ with a rating of 7.8 percent. Occupying the fourth position was the Kapamilya teen reality singing competition, The Voice Teens, with a rating of 5.4 percent, and completing the top 5 was ’24 Oras Weekend’ with a rating of 5.1 percent.
