Recently, public opinion has been stirred up by rumors related to Daniel Padilla and Kathryn Bernardo, especially the suspicion that the actor cheated on his longtime girlfriend. While the story is still unclear, Robin Padilla – an influential figure in the entertainment industry and also a distant relative of Daniel – has spoken out about this issue.

According to some sources, Robin Padilla is said to disagree with cheating in any relationship. Although he did not directly name the actor, his statement has led many to speculate that the actor was referring to Daniel Padilla and his troubled relationship with Kathryn.

Robin Padilla is famous for his strong views on morality and emotions. In a previous sharing, he once emphasized the importance of loyalty and responsibility in love. Therefore, if the rumors about Daniel are true, it is not surprising that Robin Padilla expressed his dissatisfaction.

Robin Padilla admits that Kath made Daniel famous
After a few years, Senator Robin Padilla will return to the movie industry and will play the life of former Senator Gringo Honasan.

Robin last starred in a movie in 2019 and before the 2022 elections, he shot a few movies, but he couldn’t finish them because he won as a senator.

Even though he has already started another movie, he will prioritize finishing this Gringo biopic because it is his priority, especially since he really idolizes the former senator because of what he believes in and fights for.

The said movie will be produced by Borracho Film Productions, Inc. of Atty. Ferdie Topacio, who is also the producer of the award-winning film ‘Mamasapano: Now It Can Be Told’.

Joining Atty. Topacio is former Congressman Mike Defensor and they are hoping that this will be one of the films selected for the upcoming 50th Metro Manila Film Festival.

Meanwhile, during the media conference for the said movie, Robin was also asked about the breakup between Kathryn Bernardo and her nephew Daniel Padilla.

She said that DJ doesn’t confide in her about their love life and that all they do is sing whenever they get together or meet.

“When we’re together, it’s all singing, but inside the songs are the stories.”

She believes that KathNiel will get back together.

“When they make that movie, they’ll get back together.

“That’s just it, for all our time in the industry, we all know that those kinds of partnerships, love teams, will go through that kind of process, because they mature, eh. They see the world… how big the world is.

“Because before, that world was just small because they were kids, then love blossomed and you don’t see anything day and night but the face of a woman or a man.

“Of course, now it’s different, they’re mature, they have new… of course, they have different projects, they’re mature, so that’s really expected. But I know that they’ll come back,” Robin said.

His advice to KathNiel, “Now that you’re apart, enjoy yourselves. While you’re enjoying yourself, that’s when you’ll know that you love each other.”

He even said that he regretted the outcome of Kathryn and Daniel’s romance.

“We all know… all the Padillas know that we pay great tribute to Kathryn, because she also gave Daniel a break. We all know that, that’s why we respect Kathryn, eh, so much,” admitted the Senator.

Kathryn was already famous, having just finished playing Mara in the 2010 remake of ‘Mara Clara’, when she and DJ became a love team in a weekly teen series.

Oh, even though Robin’s image is that of a bad boy, it’s funny how humble and honest he is.
