For the birthday of Vhong Navarro, Billy Crawford visits the noontime show.
Actor-host Vhong Navarro celebrates his birthday in It’s Showtime with the Kanto Boys and other celebrity guests.
It’s the reunion we didn’t know we needed!
“Kanto Boys” Vhong Navarro, Billy Crawford, and Luis Manzano got reunited on It’s Showtime for the birthday production of Vhong. One member actor John Lloyd Cruz is missing and it is because of something urgent that came up.
On Tuesday, the three members came up the stage to perform along with Joshua Garcia and Pepe Herrera as JLC’s replacements. Billy and Vhong danced to the iconic “BillyVhong” song together while Manzano appeared to perform is “How 2BU (Ang Gwapo Po)” song.
Just like the old times, the three comically performed to various songs including Edu Manzano’s “Papaya”. To recall, their group was launched on a weekly musical variety show in 2009. Their chemistry clicked and since then, they’ve been capturing hearts because of their humor, charm, and light and funny performances.
“Dapat po, kumpleto po ang Kanto Boys. Sadyang may hindi inaasahang pangyayari kaya si Lloydie ay hindi po nakapunta rito,” Navarro explained.
In the same event, Billy gave his message for Navarro as they are the closest. He recalled some of the fondest memories he had with him. That one memory was when they were attending a church mass while doing the noontime show.
“Habang may ibang segment dito, hinding-hindi ko makakalimutan ‘yung prayer time namin ni Vhong doon sa simbahan. It was really a different experience, Vhong. Thank you for always being humble.”
He also thanked him for being real and wished him more success, more love, more care, and guidance from the Lord.
Billy and Vhong have worked together closely in It’s Showtime, hence, the closeness. Their funny duo also charmed many and they are loved for their cool and tantalizing dance performances.
