On the other hand, the Fil-Am singer said that he was a special guest and not a front act. “Kapag igine-guest nila ako, hindi na ako nagpapa-tag na front act. Sa concert ni Vice, special guest ako, kaya I was there as a special guest, not a front act. That’s the reason kaya kinukuha ang mga local artist bilang front act, pagbebentahin sila ng tickets,” he explained.

Without boasting, Garth said that producers would take him as a performer it is because they know that he can bring an audience. “May talent fee ako na natatanggap and then may percentage sa tickets,” he added.

During the concert, there are things that Garth noticed. He said that there was no dressing room allotted for front-act artists and that their things were just in the dining area.

Garth said that an assistant of Vice Ganda raised voice upon seeing their things in the dining area. “Sinita kami ng tauhan ni Vice. Sinabihan kami na, ‘Bakit nandito ang mga gamit niyo? Tanggalin niyo dito. Bakit kayo dito tumatambay? Kakain na yung mga dancer!’” the Fil-Am singer said, adding that the tone of the assistant was “pasigaw.”

He also said that they felt disregarded and disrespected, and they felt like they were just there to sell tickets. Garth shared that when he posted about this, his friends who are singers also and some already have a name in the industry immediately knew who he was referring to.

“Sabi ko, notorious na pala ito. Same din sa other producers sa ibang leg ng concert at local artists who also experienced that,” the Fil-Am singer said.

Garth’s bad experience did not end there. After the concert, there was a celebration. He was with a friend who was also a front-act artist in Vice’s concert. A production staff member of Starmedia called them to celebrate with the Unkabogable Star and so they joined.

“Nung nakita kami ng personal assistant ni Vice, sinabihan kami ng ‘Alis! Alis! Alis kayo dito!’ Pasigaw, pataray. Maybe she’s thinking na baka magpa-picture kami kay Vice,” the Fil-Am singer said.

With this bad experience, Garth Garcia stressed that he has nothing against Vice Ganda because it was the celebrity’s assistant who maltreated them.
