Amid rumors linking his name to the purportedly rocky relationship between Kapamilya heartthrob Sam Milby and Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray, Kapuso star Alden Richards finally addressed the issue in an interview with showbiz personality Ogie Diaz.
The speculation allegedly stemmed from an endorsement deal where both Alden and Sam are brand ambassadors.
During the latest episode of ‘Ogie Diaz Showbiz Update,’ Ogie shared snippets of his impromptu interview with Alden at an event where their paths crossed. Alden denied any involvement when directly questioned by Ogie.
“So kasalanan mo, Alden?” Ogie inquired.
“Wala po akong kinalaman sa mga balitang ‘yan,” Alden replied.
“So hindi ikaw ang third party?” Ogie pressed.
“Wala po akong… hindi po ako nakikiapid. Never ko pong ginawa ‘yan sa buong buhay ko. Parang ako na lang lahat? Sandali lang, nananahimik po ako, I mean, just to clarify, wala po akong kinalaman…” the actor further clarified.
Alden expressed his hope for all showbiz partners experiencing difficulties to resolve their issues, emphasizing that love can ultimately answer everything.
