On the evening of November 30, Khaleej Times reported that Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla officially ended their relationship after 11 years. The couple’s breakup announcement has shaken the Philippine entertainment industry.

According to Khaleej Times, Kathryn Bernardo was the first to announce the end of her relationship with her longtime boyfriend. She posted an old photo with Daniel Padilla from their teenage years, accompanied by a heartfelt letter to her fans.

In the letter, Kathryn reflected on her relationship with Daniel, expressing her hope that fans would understand her decision and Daniel’s.

“A chapter of my life has closed. It’s hard to say everything at this moment, but I want the fans to know that Daniel and I have gone our separate ways. Daniel was my first boyfriend, my safe haven. I will always have love for him. He gave me 11 wonderful years. Our love story began with respect and ends with all the respect,” Kathryn shared.

Daniel Padilla later confirmed the breakup on his own social media: “Kathryn, thank you for the love you’ve given me. Thank you so much for sharing a beautiful time together. Although we will no longer walk the next path together, the love and respect we have for each other will remain forever.”

The breakup news came as a major shock to fans, as there were no prior signs of tension between them. Just this past October, they celebrated their 11th anniversary.
