Marian Rivera talked about being a mother

Kapuso Primetime Queen Marian Rivera admitted that she is an OA (over-acting) mom to her two children.

Marian has portrayed different roles in TV series and movies that define her as an actress. In real life, the actress has a very important role as well and it is being a mother to her daughter Zia and her son Sixto.

In a recent interview, based on an article in The Philippine Star, Marian said that she is an over-acting mother to her kids. She is hands-on when it comes to making sure of her kids’ safety and wellness.

“So, we really need to ask, what is needed? I talk to my kids how they should protect themselves. We know that it’s important for children to eat healthy food and they need vitamins. Hindi pwedeng wala ‘yung combo na ‘yun,” the Primetime Queen said.

She also said that kids getting sick is one of the common fears of parents. As her kids would go out like going to school, it is inevitable that they can get infected with colds.

The actress said that her priority is her family, especially her kids. She would make her kids understand why they should take medicines when they are sick. Although medicines could be unpleasant to the kids’ taste buds, Marian would make them understand that these would make them feel better.

Marian also shared that she and her kids prefer to stay indoors but she is also allowing her kids to go out because she knows they can learn more by exploring. She said that her son loves the outdoors because he loves swimming and playing basketball.

When they are indoors, Marian Rivera said that they make the most of everything. “We make everything possible even when we’re inside the house. So, we do our crafts inside the house and I explain to them why we did that,” she said.
