Actress Sofia Andres has officially parted ways with stylist Steph Aparici, whom she previously described as “family.”

Announcing the split on Instagram, Sofia expressed her disappointment, sharing, “After much consideration, l’ve decided to part ways with my current stylist that I also treated as my family- Ms. Steph Aparici. It was a hard decision but l’m excited to explore new opportunities and styles moving forward.”

Sofia hinted at trust issues, adding, “It’s a reminder to be cautious-business is business, nothing personal.” Her post spurred reactions from followers, with one business owner alleging similar issues involving Aparici.

On ‘Showbiz Update,’ host Ogie Diaz further discussed the situation, revealing that Sofia was reportedly shocked to discover Aparici had allegedly redirected endorsement opportunities to actress Max Collins, including brand contacts originally intended for Sofia. Photos of Aparici and Collins attending events together have since fueled speculation.

“Sofia felt betrayed,” Diaz said, explaining that the actress considered Aparici as close as family. He also noted that Sofia felt “traumatized” by the situation. According to Diaz, several brands reached out to Sofia, requesting returns for items reportedly borrowed under her name but not received, sparking additional concerns.

Adding to the tension, Diaz mentioned that Max Collins defended Aparici, reportedly asking Sofia not to tarnish the stylist’s reputation. Sofia’s team expressed confusion over the perceived betrayal, questioning why such trust was allegedly broken.

Diaz extended an open invitation to Aparici and Collins to share their side of the story, saying, “Anyway, bukas naman ang ating channel sa panig ni Max Collins, nu’ng Steph para hindi ka ma-judge anak ha at kay Sofia na rin kung ano ba ang totoo diyan.”
