An Eat Bulaga contestant shocked the show’s hosts because of this

Eat Bulaga contestant, identified as Angelito Calida, acted strangely during the Peraphy segment, and this shocked hosts Vic Sotto, Miles Ocampo, and Ryzza Mae Dizon.

The longest noontime show has been known for giving entertainment, laughter, and big cash prizes for more than 4 decades already. In the history of Philippine  television, it is the only show that aired on almost all major  TV networks.

Currently, it is airing on TV5. Peraphy is one of the current segments that the show has. In this segment, the contestant will guess if the next card will be higher or lower than the card shown.

Social media user @AltIndayBadiday on X shared a video clip of the segment featuring contestant Angelito Calida. At the start of the clip, it was shown that the members of the audience were also guessing.

Then, it can be seen that Angelito was swaying his arms. He bent and ran at the center of the studio. He went near Singing Queen Anne who was assisting the game and he tried to put his arms around her. Anne awkwardly smiled as she avoided the physical contact.

 

This shocked Vic, Miles, and Ryzza for a while. Then, Vic said, “Hoy, hoy!” and “Brod, brod,” as he tried to call the attention of the contestant. Vic and Miles went near Angelito. Miles said, “Dito lang tayo kuya.” She added, trying to control the situation, that the contestant was apparently nervous about the big cash prize.

Vic told the contestant to relax and the floor director guided Angelito to go back to where he was supposed to be standing.

In the comment section, @AltIndayBadiday shared a screenshot of Angelito Calida’s post about the incident. He said sorry and that his blood pressure at that time rose.

Another netizen shared that she was once a colleague of Angelito and that he is really acting like this when he is overwhelmed. The netizen shared that it is related to “epileptic reaction.” As of this writing, Eat Bulaga has not released a statement yet about this incident.
