Weeks after gambling tycoon Atong Ang confirmed his relationship with Sunshine Cruz, the pair was spotted attending a wedding where they apparently did their “ninong and ninang duties.”

Photos of Ang and Cruz walking down the aisle were posted by one Kate Villalon on Facebook on Saturday, Dec. 28, with the couple wearing matching black ensembles. The actress held a mini bouquet of white flowers and slung her arm around Ang’s.

“At my cousin’s wedding. Arturo & Gabrielle. with Boss AA & Sunshine Cruz. Ninong & Ninang Duties,” Villalon wrote in her post, although she didn’t disclose if any of those to be wed is a friend or relative of Ang or Cruz.

Ang confirmed that he’s in a relationship with Cruz in a Bilyonaryo News Channel report after they were spotted kissing at a cockpit arena. Details of when they met and how their relationship started are yet to be revealed by the couple as of this writing.

The businessman is currently married to his non-showbiz wife Iris. However, it remains unknown if they are now legally separated or if their marriage is in the process of annulment. He was previously caught in dating rumors with Gretchen Barretto after multiple sightings, but Barretto stressed that they were only business partners.

Meanwhile, Cruz was previously in a relationship with Macky Mathay before their split was confirmed in September 2022, with the actress saying their romance was not “progressing.”

The actress was also previously married to fellow actor Cesar Montano before their marriage was officially annulled in 2018. Their marriage bore them three children: Angelina Isabelle, Samantha Angeline and Angel Francheska, whom they all co-parent. Montano addressed his ex-wife’s new romance in a Philippine Star report, saying he was proud of Ang for being “man enough” to publicly admit his relationship with Cruz.
