Prominent drama actress Sylvia Sanchez react to “second choice lang” for the role that is supposed to be for Superstar Nora Aunor.

It is no doubt that one of the most effective actresses in the Philippine entertainment industry now is Sylvia.

She has moved many viewers with her powerful acting and no one can refute that.

When it comes to her acting career, she is one of those artists who is blessed to have good projects.

The most recent that was offered to her was the role Jesusa.

Based on the report from PUSH, this was first offered to Nora Aunor. However, due to certain conflicts on the agreements from both camp, this was offered to Sylvia Sanchez.

When she knew that she was just the second choice for the project, Sylvia did not mind it.

“Kinuwento niya sa akin, ito yung project, ito si Jesusa, ito yung ganun. At naging honest sila sa akin na second choice ako. ‘Di naman ako nasasaktan kasi, sa Be Careful with My Heart, hindi ako first choice doon. Maraming projects na hindi ako first choice pero sa atin napupunta at ako ang swerte. Hindi importante sa akin ang unang choice nila, ang importante sa akin ay sa akin napunta, at gagampanan ko ng buong buo, ‘yun lang yun,” the actres said.

Sylvia also said that she already thought that the expectations for her are high because it was first offered to the Superstar.

“Actually nung nalaman ko na si Ate Guy ‘to, sabi ko dahil inoffer sa kanya ibig sabihin magandang project. Yung expectation nila sobrang laki kaya malamang sa akin din sobrang malaki rin. Kasi every time natatakot ako, ginagawa kong challenge yun eh,” she shared.

On the other hand, Sylvia Sanchez is excited to do this project because it will be her first time to do the role of a drug addict, based on the report.
