From workmates to lovers are “Ate Girl” Jackie Gonzaga and former Hashtag member Tom Doromal. She easily fell in love with him when he first approached her. He was the first one to notice her and not the other way around.

Their love story started in It’s Showtime. Jackie started as a dancer and currently, she is now one of the regular hosts while Tom was part of an all-boy group. She was a dancer since 2015 but rose to popularity when her charm was discovered in the segment “Miss Q&A” in 2018.

From being workmates, their relationship progressed until they became a couple. This year, they should be on their 8th year, however, it looks like there’s something that happened.

In the recent episode of Showtime, Jackie cried when she received a group hug from her co-hosts. Vice Ganda was talking about waiting Jackie and giving her enough time to prepare for something but Kim Chiu noticed her being emotional.

During the “EXpecially For You” segment, the comedian expressed, “Sabihin mo lang sa ‘kin ‘nak kung ready ka na, sabi naman sa ‘yo, I will give you time.”

Vice added, “Eh kasi nga, wala ring closure.”

The group hug then happened which encouraged the tears of Jackie to fall down.

“Hala, totoong luha na. Masakit ba? Masakit pa. Umiyak talaga si Jackie,” says Kim while Vhong Navarro quipped, “Jackie, pagsubok lang ang lahat.”

Meanwhile, this is not the first time that Jackie cried in Showtime. In a previous article, she cried because of what Vice said to her. She was praised by the superstar comedian for being sincere always and he expressed how proud he is of her because of this.
