Gabby Concepcion talked about his upcoming concert with Sharon Cuneta

Seasoned actor Gabby Concepcion admitted that he accepted the offer to have a reunion concert with his ex-wife Megastar Sharon Cuneta because of their daughter actress KC Concepcion.

Decades have passed but there are still fans who continue to love the Sharon-Gabby tandem. This is the reason why many fans expressed happiness when it was announced that they will have a reunion concert.

This made their daughter KC very happy as well. In a recent interview, based on the article in Pang-Masa, Gabby shared the time when this project was offered to him.

Gabby Concepcion shared that even before the reunion project was officially offered to him, he already heard about this from KC Concepcion.

“Alam ko magiging masaya siya na kahit na sa isang concert, magkakaroon ng pagkakataong mabuong muli ng aming pamilya na bata pa siya at wala pang malay ay nasira na,” the seasoned actor said.

He added that KC grew up that they were already a broken family and he knows how painful that was for his daughter. Gabby appreciated the fact that even though he and Sharon broke up, KC had her grandparents who cared for her. With this, Gabby said that KC grew up with a good disposition and without bitterness.

“Pero affected din ako sa sinasabi niyang mahirap na humalo sa isang blended family although on our part, my wife makes sure na walang makikitang difference between them at sa aming mga anak,” Gabby said.

The seasoned actor added that his wife treated his children fairly and because of this, KC is so comfortable with them. He also said that his first daughter knows that she is always welcome to join them.

Gabby Concepcion shared that whenever KC Concepcion is with them, she really stays close with her siblings. “KC is also an ideal child, wala akong nakikitang problema sa kanya. She is one person that only knows how to love,” he stressed.
