Video of Karylle Excellent Singing in ‘The Sound of Music’ Goes Viral

KARYLLE – The video of Karylle’s excellent singing in ‘The Sound of Music’ went viral on social media.

Karylle Tatlonghari is a Filipina performer in the musical theater, as well as a singer and actor. She is widely regarded as an “OPMs Showbiz Royalty.”

She has also been nominated for “Best Actress for TV Series-Drama” at the Monte-Carlo TV Festival, one of Europe’s most prestigious television awards. She was named “Best New Artist” by MTV Philippines in 2002. She is a regular host on Kapamilya’s noontime variety show It’s Showtime.

Karylle Tatlonghari joined the international cast of The Sound of Music. She played the role of Baroness Elsa von Schraeder while Markki Stroem played the role of Rolf.

The Rodgers and Hammerstein musical’s casting of Karylle and Stroem was revealed on February 17. The international tour of “The Sound of Music,” is based on the true story of the Trapp Family Singers’ flight from Nazi-occupied Austria in the 1930s.

The Sound of Music will be performed in the Samsung Performing Arts Center in Circuit Makati, Makati City from March 7 to March 26. Tickets are available via Ticketworld. Karylle and Stroem both provided glimpses of their stage performances via a series of posts on their respective Instagram pages.
