The former player has failed to impress at his new club.
A former Liverpool player branded as a flop by fans has now been deleted from his new club’s website as they look to sell him.
Liverpool have impressed so far this season as they begin a new era under Dutch manager Arne Slot, who replaced club legend Jurgen Klopp over the summer.
Under the guidance of Klopp, the Reds have been one of the most successful clubs in England recently, winning the Premier League, Champions League, FA Cup, Carabao Cup and several other trophies.
But one of Klopp’s players who struggled to make his mark at Liverpool has now been deleted from the official website of his new club amid reports that they are looking to sell him to the Chinese league.
Naby Keita joined Liverpool in the summer of 2017 after the club triggered the £48million release clause in his RB Leipzig contract and agreed a deal to bring the highly-regarded midfielder to Anfield a year later.
With Keita demanding such a high cost and taking the legendary number 8 worn by club legend Steven Gerrard, expectations were high.
Unfortunately, injuries held the Guinean from establishing himself at the club and now, having left as a free agent end of the 2022/23 season to join Bundesliga side Werder Bremen.
But now, German outlet Bild report that the club are trying to creata an interest for the 29-year-old in China to attempt to set up a transfer in the near future.
The report comes just days after Keita’s picture was deleted from the club’s website, leaving only his name and shirt number (18) listed.

Like at Liverpool, Keita arrived at Werder Bremen to much fanfare but again, has failed to impress at the club, making just five appearances for the club.
In April, he made headlines after he refused to travel with the team to the match against Bundesliga champions Beyer l
Leverkusen after being told by the manager that he would not be in the starting line-up.
Therefore, Werder Bremen are reportedly prepared to cut their losses and let the player go should another club show an interest in signing him.
