Alodia Gosiengfiao has given us another reason to smile at our phones because of the latest video she uploaded—and at some point, we kinda wished we had a partner like hers.

Trust us when we say that Alodia’s husband might just be added to the list of cutie-ful non-showbiz hubbies that we could fawn over on the Internet. Proof: Alodia’s recent Instagram upload where we see her husband, Christopher Quimbo brimming with joy and excitement as he discovers that Alodia’s pregnant with their first child.

Yup, ICYMI, Alodia announced her pregnancy last June 18, 2024 by uploading a clip of a baby’s ultrasound. It was just in time for Father’s Day!

Almost a week after the announcement, the cosplayer-influencer decided to share the most candid moment of her hubby looking at her pregnancy test (PT) for the first time. Christopher was punching the air because of happiness, while Alodia was actually doubtful that the test was accurate. “Is it clear? Pero bakit half lang?” Alodia said while pointing at the faint second red line in her PT.

Even if Alodia was laughing and somewhat doubting the result, Christopher’s eyes were wide and sparkling with excitement knowing that he’s gonna be a dad soon! “Excited? I don’t think that’s the right word. I’m like, more than excited,” the soon-to-be father said during the video.

He added, “I’ve always felt like I was a dad. But now like, I’m coming into my own, you know. I think I was destined for this.” Aww, Christopher!

Their conversation switched to whether their first child will be a boy or a girl. “Is it gonna be a girl or a boy? Can you feel it? Sometimes the mom knows,” Christopher told Alodia.

He even joked, “You wouldn’t withhold the information from me, right?”

“How would I know? Pero feeling ko boy eh,” Alodia remarked. Then came her husband’s quick anecdote on how his mom thought he was a girl back then.

“My mom thought I was a girl. Even when I was born. She was still putting ribbons in my hair and stuff,” and they both laughed at the cute story.

We have to say that Alodia and Christopher might have been one of the chillest Internet couples we’ve seen. We’ve known Alodia as a high-profile cosplayer through the years, while Christopher was actually unknown to the entertainment industry until he started dating Alodia. But in case you’re curious, Christopher is a businessman who owns Novellino Wines.

The couple tied the knot on Valentine’s Day, February 14, in a grand nuptial at Marriott Hotel in Pasay City. But before their perfect wedding happened, there were persistent inquiries about how fast Christopher and Alodia reached the point of wanting to settle down.

ICYDK, it was in November 2021 when Alodia broke up with her four-year boyfriend and fellow content creator Wil Dasovich. Months later, in July 2022, Alodia got engaged to Christopher to the surprise of many. Then, by February 2023, the two finally got hitched.

It may seem like a short engagement for some, but for Christopher, it wasn’t a matter of how long their relationship was. For him, he knew that Alodia was the woman that he’d want to spend the rest of his life with from the moment he first knew her. “Even after the first month of knowing you, I knew I was gonna propose to you,” Christopher told Alodia in a September 2022 interview with Dr. Vicki Belo.

Now, after a year of being a married couple, Christopher and Alodia are on their way to parenthood. We’re so happy for you guys! Congratulations, again!
