Kim Chiu and Paulo Avelino have officially started filming their highly anticipated first movie project together, Star Cinema announced on Monday.
In an Instagram post, Star Cinema uploaded a photo of a movie clapperboard for the film “My Love Will Make You Disappear,” with director Chad Vidanes helming the project.
This development comes days after Kim posted photos of herself with Avelino and Vidanes in a script-reading session, joined by their co-stars Wilma Doesnt, Nicco Manalo and Karina Bautista.
The upcoming film marks the first film project of the onscreen pair, dubbed “KimPau,” who have worked together in the hit series “Linlang” and local adaptation of the Korean series “What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim?”.
“My Love Will Make You Disappear” is scheduled for release next year.
Recently, the Philippine entertainment industry was shocked by the shocking decision of actress Kim Chiu. She spent half of her fortune to pay the film crew for her latest film project. This action not only surprised fans but also showed a noble soul, willing to sacrifice for her colleagues.
In the context of the film industry facing many difficulties due to the pandemic, Kim has proven herself to be not only a famous star but also a responsible leader. Instead of saving every penny, she decided to invest in people – those who have worked hard to bring quality artistic products
Speaking to the media, Kim shared: “The film crew is my second family. I cannot let them worry about finances during this difficult time.” This simple but profound statement touched the hearts of many people. In addition, this move has also made the audience re-evaluate the value of solidarity and gratitude in the entertainment industry. Kim Chiu is not only an icon of beauty and talent, but also an ideal model of dedication.
Although she may face great financial risks, Kim will certainly receive better things in the future, not only from the support of the audience but also from those who have accompanied her throughout this journey. Kim Chiu’s actions are clear proof that, sometimes, success is not only measured by money, but also by love and sacrifice.
