On her YouTube channel, Everyday Kath, on Sunday, May 17, Kathryn Bernardo reacted to mean tweets about her in her latest vlog.

Apart from responding and laughing off hate tweets about her voice, acting, and personality, she took a jab at remarks about her legs, which the bashers would call “sakang” or bow-legged.

“Ang pangit ni Kathryn Bernardo! Sakang na! Pangit pa!” Kathryn read the tweet out loud. “Oh, boom! Ito ’yong hinihintay ko!”

Admittedly, she felt insecure when it comes to her legs, becoming one of the reasons why she took off the commenting options of her Instagram account at one point. However, at present, she is now unbothered by the shape of her legs.

“Ngayon talaga, hindi na ako na-ba-bother,” she said. “Over the years, natutunan ko tanggapin ’yong legs ko. Yes, it’s not straight. […] Parang parenthesis, ’yon ’yong sinasabi nila, but wala, eh. Parte siya ng pagkatao ko.”

Kathryn learned to embrace her flaws with the help of her real-and-reel life partner Daniel Padilla, who openly embraced her for whatever she is.

“Pero alam niyo kung sino nagpa-realize sa akin na huwag magpa-insecure? Si DJ,” she revealed. “Through DJ, na-overcome ko ’yong insecurity ko about my legs.”

She adds that she is no longer conscious about the way she stands and how her legs appear bow-legged.

“Na-realize ko lahat tayo merong imperfections,” she reflected. “Siguro nagkataon na ibinigay sa akin ni God ’yong legs ko. And ano gagawin ko? Eh, di nagwo-workout ako para ma-exercise siya and tatanggapin ko siya kasi hello?!? Hindi naman ako makukulang sa pagkasakang ko!”

Holding out her legs, she expressed her love for it, how Daniel also loves it too and left a message for the basher who made a comment about it.

“I love my legs and si DJ love din legs ko,” she said. “Come on! You kiss my f*cking legs!”
