Is it true that Tito Sotto is planning to take legal action regarding the Eat Bulaga issue?

Veteran TV host Tito Sotto was allegedly spotted with lawyers from Divina Law and this garnered speculations that the Eat Bulaga issue will reach the point of “demandahan.”

Fans of the longest-running noontime show have been waiting for the story to be unfolded. It was rumored that EB will undergo rebranding and in line with this, a new set of hosts will take place.

Previously, it was reported that seasoned director Louie Ignacio was offered to be the director of the Kapuso noontime show. However, in a recent interview, the director said that there is no final decision yet regarding this matter as he is already doing several projects.

Entertainment writer Gorgy Rula shared in his recent article in Pilipino Star Ngayon that rumors said that the supposed relaunching of Eat Bulaga on April 17 will not happen. He also said that as of this writing, Tito Sotto, along with Vic Sotto and Joey de Leon, is still negotiating with former Congressman Romy Jalosjos, the owner of TAPE Inc., the production company behind the noontime show.

Rula said that right now, there is no update yet if what was the final decision. “Pero ang sabi baka umabot sa demandahan nang nakita nila sa isang Instagram post na nakipag-meeting si Tito Sen sa legal team niyang Divina Law,” the entertainment writer shared.

However, Rula said that there is no finality yet when it comes to this matter and it is expected that Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto, and Joey de Leon will speak about this, especially when negotiation will not work well.

Meanwhile, it was previously rumored that the TVJ negotiated with Brightlight Productions owner Bacolod City Mayor Albee Benitez for a possible collaboration.
