Barbie Forteza and Jak Roberto break up; actress asks for respect, privacy

On the second day of the new year, Barbie Forteza dropped a bombshell, admitting that she and her boyfriend Jak Roberto have broken up and called it quits, after seven years.

On Instagram, Barbie shared a carousel of photos with Jak having a talk and coffee.

She began with a quote from Dr. Seuss, “Don’t cry because it’s over. Smile because it happened.”

“Having you in my life was the happiest I had ever been. Seven wonderful years. A lot of laughs, a lot of ramen and so much love,” Barbie continued.

She said that Jak’s love was “exceptional.”

However, the actress admitted that “good things also fall apart so that better things can come together.”

Barbie said goodbye to the Kapuso actor by thanking him for loving her the way he did.

“I am excited for what’s to come for the both of us. You take care of yourself. May you find the love you deserve,” she added.

She ended, “I hope for everyone’s understanding, and I wish you can help us put this matter to rest.”
