Kim not invited to Maja’s wedding: ‘We’re not that close anymore!’

Kapamilya star and “It’s Showtime” host Kim Chiu directly answered the common question of netizens as to why she was not at her friend Maja Salvador’s wedding.

It can be seen in his vlog “Cooking Tortang Along with Q&A” which he uploaded on September 24.

“Welcome back to my channel and welcome back to my rest house! We are here now in the kitchen area because we will be cooking for this episode. Yes! I always see it in my FYP on TikTok so I thought, let’s do it. Of course, I have sissy Bazooka and Fem with me to help me cook Eggplant Tortang!”

“And while we are cooking, I will also answer the questions you sent in my IG story post last time. Are you ready? This is answering sweet & spicy questions – tortang talong edition! Enjoy!” Kim said.

Question #3 actually asked about Maja’s marriage to Rambo Núñez. Here Kim admitted that he was not invited because they are not that close to the actress anymore, and he has no hard feelings towards her.

“No, no, Maja and I are not very close anymore, and we don’t talk much anymore, and of course when you get married you want the people you want to be there, to witness your love for your partner, I was not invited !” Kimmy answered with a laugh.

“But it’s okay! Nothing really, I’m so happy for him. I messaged him. And I was also touched when he minissaged me because of what happened to my sister. He said he was praying for my sister, and then he said I was okay. I was talking to him when something happened to my sister.”

“But in a wedding, it doesn’t matter if you’re invited or not. As long as you are happy that it happened to him, then they deserve each other, they and Rambo, so it doesn’t matter, why is that an issue?” Kim answered.

At the end, Kim said that she was happy that Maja had found her “The One” so she congratulated the couple.

 

It can be remembered that there was a rift in the friendship between Kim and Maja allegedly because of their ex, Gerald Anderson.

In 2013, while Kim and Maja were working on the series “Ina, Kapatid, Anak” where they acted as siblings, when Maja admitted that she was dating Gerald, who was actually Kim’s ex-boyfriend.

Recently, it was reported that Gerald and Maja reunited after several years, even with the actress’s husband, Rambo. Not only did they see each other, but they even kissed.
