KC Concepcion Talks About Emotional Meeting W/ Moira Dela Torre

MOIRA DELA TORRE – Pinay actress and singer KC Concepcion talked about her emotional meeting with singer-songwriter Moira dela Torre.

A lot of well-known kids in the Philippine entertainment business continued their parents’ careers. Some of them, however, chose to take a different path and remain out of the spotlight of show business. One of them is KC Concepcion, an actress-singer who is the daughter of Megastar Sharon Cuneta.

Maria Kristina Cassandra a.k.a. KC is Sharon’s eldest child and only child with ex-husband Gabby Concepcion. Although the Megastar raised her, she now enjoys lovely connections with both of her parents and her stepfather, former senator Kiko Pangilinan, with whom she clearly shares a bond like that of a true father and daughter. KC participated in a number of projects in the entertainment industry, but during the past few years, she has spent much of her time traveling.


KC Concepcion runs her own business and typically returns home for special occasions, such as the most recent holiday season. She was recently questioned about whether she is a daddy’s or a mommy’s girl. She replied, “Lola’s girl!” She was referring to Mommy Elaine Cuneta, her grandma. She shared a close bond with her late granny as well.

The 38-year-old celebrity was also asked about her impending return to acting. KC revealed that she had shot a project abroad. “I finished our movie in New York last year, can’t wait to talk about it. I’m lighting my candle for new amazing project this year,” she said.

KC Concepcion shared her first meeting with Moira Dela Torre. She shared this on the YouTube channel of his father, Gabby Concepcion. She said that the singer admitted to her that she is one of those who admire the story of KC and her dad.

“Moira and I saw each other backstage of Araneta Colisem. And then, talagang niyakap niya ako and then si Darla Sauler pa nga caught her on camera na umiiyak and she was hugging me…”

“Parang na-amaze ako na bakit siya umiiyak. ‘Yung kasama niya while hugging me said, Moira loves you so much She had parang magazine articles in her room or her wall. Parang daw ever since we met, and we told our story, naka-relate si Moira. She was so touched sa story natin na if it could happened to us, It could happened to them.”

According to Moira, she was inspired by the reunion and that KC often bonds with her father. She said, if this happened to Gabby and KC, it will bring hope to others, especially those looking for their parents.

“Sabi niya you have been my big sister all this time, you never knew but you know I would always follow that story of yours.”
