Carlene Aguilar thanked Jennylyn Mercado for treating her son Calix with Dennis Trillo like the actress’s child.
Jennylyn Mercado wrote a birthday message for her stepson, Calix Andreas, who celebrated his 17th birthday on September 22. Calix is the son of Jennylyn’s husband, Dennis Trillo, with his ex-girlfriend, beauty queen Carlene Aguilar.
On her Instagram account, the Ultimate Star shared her birthday message for Calix, alongside a series of photos of him in a fencing tournament.
“Happy birthday, Kuya Calix! May all your wishes come true today and every day. We love you! ,” she wrote before adding #birthdayboy #calixandreasho.
Birthday greetings for Calix overflowed in the comments section, one of which came from DJ Chacha.
The post also received a comment from Carlene Aguilar, the mother of Calix, thanking Jennylyn for treating her son like the actress’ own child.
“Thank you mommy jen for loving Calix as your own ,” Carlene wrote.
Meanwhile, Dennis also dedicated an Instagram post to the birthday boy.
The actor from Pulang Araw expressed his pride in his firstborn as he shared a video of the firstborn participating in a fencing match.
Dennis started the caption with a wordplay, “Daisy Siete!”
He went on, “Congrats to my panganay, so proud of you, mahal na mahal ka namin! We’re always here for you! Happy Birthday”
Calix has grown up to become a wonderful kuya to his half-siblings, Marcus Iñigo and Hunter Elio, from stepdad Yo Ocampo.
Not only that, but Calix is very supportive of his dad, Dennis’ relationship with actress Jennylyn as well as evidenced by the many bonding moments posted on Instagram.
Through his dad’s marriage to Jennylyn, Calix is also a loving brother to his stepbrother, Alex Jazz, and half-sister Dylan Jayde.
