Kim Chiu received this question during a recent interview

It’s Showtime host Kim Chiu was asked about her co-host Vhong Navarro, and this was her answer.

Vhong is in the middle of a legal battle. It is because of the rape case against him filed by model Deniece Cornejo. The arrest warrant issued against him has no recommended bail and so he was detained at the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) where he surrendered.

However, the camp of Deniece wants him to be detained at the Taguig City Jail. The court denied Vhong’s plea to stay at the NBI detention center.

During a recent interview for the new movie Always, Kim Chiu was asked about the situation in the Kapamilya noontime show now that one of their co-hosts is being detained because of a rape accusation, based on the article in Balita.

The actress has this answer to the reporter who asked her about this: “‘Ay ano po d’yan, baka kasuhan niyo po ako. Ikaw ang kakaso sa akin. ‘Hindi, ‘wag yun, ‘wag ‘yun,” pabirong saad lang Kim sa pakiusap na ‘wag nang hingan ng reaksyon ukol sa isyu.”

Kim has become part of the Kapamilya noontime show since September 2020. From that, she was able to have a strong bond with her co-hosts, including Vhong Navarro. However, the actress chose not to speak about this legal issue involving her co-host.

Meanwhile, during the same interview, Kim was also asked about the next level of her relationship with her boyfriend Xian Lim, who is also her leading man in her new movie Always. The actress admitted that they have talked about settling down but there was no final stuff yet regarding this aspect of their relationship.

On the other hand, Kim Chiu is quite sure that her boyfriend is Mr. Right for her. “Hindi niya naman pinapasakit ang ulo ko so parang siguro… ‘Yung parang kahit iharap mo siya sa lahat ng girls parang ako pa rin yung maganda,” she said as she highlighted the loyalty that Xian has.
