Vice Ganda shared this story about Angeline Quinto

Unkabogable Superstar Vice Ganda revealed the “weird” beginning of his friendship with singer-actress Angeline Quinto.

Angeline is one of the closest friends that Vice has in the entertainment industry. Just recently, the singer tied the knot with her non-showbiz partner Nonrev Daquina and the comedian-host was the Man of Honor.

During Vice’s speech, based on the article in Bandera, he recalled how he and Angeline became so close. He can say that what they have is more than just being close or best friends because they feel that they have the bond of a family.

Vice Ganda started his speech with a joke. “Good evening everyone. Maraming salamat po sa pagdalo. Ako po talaga yung nagpakasal sa kanila, ako po talaga ang gumastos dito! Charot!” the It’s Showtime host said.

In a serious tone, Vice said that he is happy for Angeline and Nonrev for sharing an amazing love. He is also ecstatic about the fact that the couple is surrounded by people who love and support them and are also happy to celebrate their love.

Then, Vice shared that his friendship with Angeline had a weird beginning. He said that he already mentioned in a past interview that he had a sister named Angeline who passed away.

When his mother met Angeline for the first time, she felt like the singer was the daughter she lost. Vice also felt that the singer was his “nawawalang kapatid.”

“Nu’ng na-meet ko nga siya, sabi ko, ‘Bakit nakita pa kita ulit?’ Ha-hahaha! So, malalim talaga yung pinagsamahan namin,” the comedian-host said. It started when he received an unexpected call from Angeline. They have the same handler.

Vice was surprised how Angeline got his number. The singer was crying at that time and she said that she was really sad. When the comedian-host asked Angeline why she called him of all the people she knew, she said that it is because Vice is the person who makes her happy everyday.

The Unkabogable Superstar decided to go to Angeline’s house and when he asked the reason for her sadness, she was, “Wala. ”

“Tapos na-realize ko, parang, ‘Paanong hindi ka mag-iiyak, para kang baliw, yung tugtugan niya puro Sarah Geronimo na masasakit na kanta,’” Vice revealed. From that on, they texted each other and the strong friendship between them started.
