Amid swirling breakup rumors, actress KC Concepcion and her boyfriend, Filipino-Swiss businessman Mike Wuethrich, have unfollowed each other on Instagram, as noted by observant netizens.
As of Saturday, June 1, both were absent from each other’s following list. Additionally, Wuethrich has reportedly deleted a photo of the couple posted in September 2023. Concepcion, however, still retains her Instagram reels featuring the businessman.
Concepcion fueled speculation with a cryptic post on May 18, where she shared glamorous photos flaunting her new hairstyle, captioning it with, “Moving on.”
Separation rumors began in April when fans noticed the couple rarely saw each other or posted about each other. Wuethrich’s absence during Concepcion’s 39th birthday further fueled the rumors. However, Concepcion shared a picture of a bouquet from Wuethrich, captioning, “Special thanks to Swizzy, who is in Switzerland, for sending me my first beautiful birthday blooms that lit up the mood and the whole room.”
On April 23, Concepcion posted a heartfelt birthday message for Wuethrich, emphasizing their bond despite the distance. “Happy birthday, Swizzy. Thank you for being player one to my player two. I enjoy every adventure you take me on, and I’m proud to see you overcome every challenge life throws at you,” she wrote.
She continued, “I so enjoy your smile when I see it, so keep smiling! Despite the distance, there’s a reason God made our paths cross. It’s exciting to see the good things he has in store for us and for you! Enjoy today. HAPPY BIRTHDAY! Let’s celebrate you!!!”
The couple, who never officially confirmed their relationship, started being seen together in January 2023. In August 2023, Concepcion commented on her love life, expressing a desire to keep it private. “Okay naman ang love life. It’s not really something na gusto kong ilabas nang todo-todo, kasi ever since ‘yung first relationship ko, parang masyadong open book lahat,” she said.
As of now, both Concepcion and Wuethrich have yet to comment on the current status of their relationship.
